What has changed is the range of technologies available. Many of these technologies are now available here in SA. Other options come to visit on a regular basis.

Options now include drive from wheel chair access as seen in this ABC news report in the TotalAbility driver training vehicle. The vehicle is fitted with a huge range of technologies including electronic accelerators and voice controlled accessories.
